2 Visiting the website

When you visit the site, technically necessary data transmitted by your browser is processed: the page requested, date and time, amount of data transferred, browser type and operating system, and your IP address. This data is needed to deliver the site and to keep it running securely. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in secure and trouble-free operation.

3 Hosting and email

This website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. The provider processes the data listed in section 2 and the enquiries sent via the contact form on our behalf as a processor under Art. 28 GDPR.

Our mailbox info@lowo.me is operated via Microsoft 365, provided by Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, One Microsoft Place, South County Business Park, Leopardstown, Dublin 18, Ireland. If you write to us, Microsoft processes your message on our behalf. A transfer to the USA cannot be ruled out. Microsoft is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

4 Contact form, email, phone and WhatsApp

If you contact us using the form, by email or by phone, we process your details in order to handle your enquiry. For the form, this means your name, email address, town and country, and optionally your phone number, pool size, pool shape, preferred timing and your message, plus the time the form was sent. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for pre-contractual measures, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

The form contains a field that is invisible to people and measures how long it takes to fill in, in order to reject automated submissions. We deliberately do not use a captcha, and therefore no connection to a third party.

If you write to us via WhatsApp, WhatsApp Ireland Limited, Merrion Road, Dublin 4, D04 X2K5, Ireland, processes your phone number and your message under its own terms. A transfer to the USA cannot be ruled out. If you do not want to use WhatsApp, you can reach us just as well by phone, email or the form. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

5 Storage period

Enquiries that do not lead to an order are deleted no later than six months after the last contact. If an order results, the statutory retention periods under German commercial and tax law of six and ten years apply.

6 Recipients

Your data is only passed on where this is necessary to handle your enquiry. Recipients are the providers named in section 3. In the case of an order, tax advisers, the tax office and banks are added where required by law.

7 No cookies, no analytics, no advertising

No cookies that would require consent are set, and no analytics, tracking or advertising services are used. No map services, video players, fonts or other content from third-party servers are embedded. The links to Instagram, WhatsApp, to the map and to the reviews on Google are simple links, a connection to these providers is only made when you click on them. That is why there is no consent banner on this site.

8 Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and the right to object to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (Art. 21). Please contact the address given in section 1, no special form is needed.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The competent authority is the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany.
